My Best Travel Tips: The Ultimate Guide

It has been 9 years since I sold everything and the United States left to travel around the world. These are the best travel tips to help you save money and enjoy a wonderful trip.
Are you curious to know how to travel the world? I have traveled around the world for 9 years. I have many useful Best Travel Tips to share from my trip.
I started my journey when I left my job and took a one-way trip from Miami to Guatemala, where I jumped nervously into the unknown and left behind a lot of my old life while embarking on an epic adventure around the world.
The experience was a wild trip: traveling to more than 50 countries, meeting countless people, and I learned a lot since the first time I left!
Enjoy adventures such as hiking in the United States, camping in Greenland, trips in Afghanistan, and much more: the world has been an incredible teacher.
Finally, I turned my travel writing into a successful travel blog and continued to travel regularly as part of my dream job.
But to celebrate my travel anniversary each year, I update this guide with a collection of my best travel tips to help you save money, stay safe and inspire others to go out and explore our world.
Feel free to share your favorite Best Travel Tips  in the comments in the end!
Make the trip easy and enjoyable
Patience is important
Do not worry about things you can not control. Life is shorter than being angry and upset all the time. Have you lost the bus? Do not worry, there will be another.
ATMs without money? Great! Take an unplanned road trip to and explore the following city. Sometimes pass freakouts in spite of everything. Just take a deep breath and remember it might be worse.
2: Wake up early to avoid crowds
Wake up before dawn to get your best attractions and avoid the large crowds of tourists. It is also a magic moment for images because of the light diffused, and it is usually easy to interact with local people preparing for your day.
Do you want those photos from Instagram Postcard? You need to leave before you see anyone else. Incomplete areas are also less dangerous in the morning. Honest and hardworking people wake up early. Distributors, scammers and criminals sleep in ...
3: Watch the daily life around you
If you really want to feel a pulse somewhere, I recommend you spend a few hours sitting in a garden or on a busy street street just to see the daily life in front of you.

Slow down your thinking and pay close attention to the details around you. Odors, colors, human interactions and sounds. It is a kind of meditation, and you will see things you have not seen before.
4: Sometimes laugh at yourself
You will definitely look like a fool several times when you travel to new places. Instead of embarrassing yourself, laugh at yourself. Do not be afraid of the curse, nor take life seriously. Relax!
Once, a bus full of Guatemalans laughed fiercely when the driver was forced to stop so he could urinate on the side of the road. Returning to the bus and laughing with them gave me new friends for the rest of the trip!
5: Slow down to enjoy your trip
Please do not try to cram 6 countries into 6 weeks of travel. All good things happen when you really take time to explore. You will learn about activities that are not in your guide and will meet people who are eager to see you.
I can honestly say that none of my Best Travel Tips experiences happened in the early days of arriving somewhere. Spend more time in less places to enjoy the fullest. I promise you to have a much better time!
6: Volunteering at times
Be a volunteer part of your time for projects that are worth the trouble when traveling. It is not only a rewarding experience, but you will learn a lot about the country and its people and make new friends as well.
There is a great location called Voluntariado de base, where you can find high-quality volunteer opportunities recommended around the world. Just be very careful with volunteering and conducting your research, there are also many tricks.
